What is Utility Locating?

Using either an EM scanner, LMX 100 or a GPR scanner, we are able to locate utilities in the ground or in concrete slabs so you know where they are before disturbing the ground. Whether its excavation, drilling or ground disturbance, it is the law to have your utilities located.
(As per Work Safe BC section 20.79). This doesn't only apply to large companies, but homeowners as well.

By placing a BC1 Call and getting your utilities located, you are protecting yourself and employees from hitting any underground utilities that could potentially be harmful or lead to death. By protecting yourself and the public, you can avoid any costly repairs that the utility companies may charge you for damaging their materials.
